DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ARMY....

... OUR
'INSIDERS' RECRUITMENT GUIDE WILL SHOW YOU HOW
AT YOUR
VERY FIRST ATTEMPT!

LET US SHOW YOU
HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE WITH OUR UNIQUE INSIDER GUIDE
In order to
join the army and
become a British Army Soldier you will need to be fully prepared and
focused.
As with any
selection process for any job or career you need to prepare yourself fully.
We also believe that you should carry out as much research as possible for
the job you are applying for, ensuring that you look into the facts about
the career of your choice.
When you decide to apply to join the Army you need to understand what the
job is about and how it will affect your life, both professionally and
socially. The British Army are looking for people who are flexible,
committed and motivated along with being an effective team player.
You will be required to sit a number of tests and exercises throughout the
selection process, including tests that assess your physical fitness. Again,
you must prepare for every eventuality.
The Army will require you to run a set distance within a set time and the
only way to prepare for this is to practise, practise and practise some
more!
When you apply to
join the British Army you will be required to sit what is known as the
British Army Recruit Battery Test (BARB).
This test is designed to test your ability to quickly and accurately carry
out set tasks that are presented before you. Most applicants to the British
Army will not prepare themselves for this test, and although they may
achieve the required pass mark they will only be offered a number of careers
and may not get the one
that they really want.
Before you apply
to join the British Army as a soldier you may already be physically active
and fit. Even so it is essential that you make your life as easy as possible
and make sure that you can easily pass the physical tests.
The ability to
work as part of a team is essential, and you will be assessed on this
throughout the selection process. Within the Army you will be required to
work in a team environment every day to carry out tasks both small and
large. You will need to demonstrate that you have the potential to become a
competent team member throughout the selection process.
Did you know that
as an army soldier you can earn anything up to £27,000 per?
Not bad for doing
a job that you really enjoy!
One of the main
reasons people join the army is because of the range of career options that
are available to you.
If you are just
leaving school or maybe you are considering a career change...
Within a matter of
months (if not weeks) you could be an...

- INFANTRY
SOLDIER - either serving your country in
a battle zone, undertaking a peace keeping mission or providing
humanitarian aid to those countries that desperately need it
-
RECOVERY MECHANIC -
Specialising in the recovery of ditched, bogged or
overturned Army vehicles
These are just a few
of the paths open to you when you join the army and the continuous
promotion from within the ranks makes this a great place to develop a
long career.
In addition to all this...
- The army has a
minimum age requirement of 16
years of age
- The army is
open to both men and women.
- The army is
always looking for new recruits
for various different role which means that there has NEVER
been a better time to join the army.
However...
When you apply to join
the Army you will be required to pass a number of tests. These tests are
known as the BARB TESTS and the higher your score the more options that are
open to you. The problem is that most candidates do not prepare for these
tests and as a result do not get the career choice they really want.
Within this insiders
career guide we will not only show you how to score
highly on the BARB TESTS but also how to pass the entire
selection process at the first attempt (including
actual interview questions and sample responses!)

What's even better
is this guide has been created in conjunction with candidates who have
passed the selection process and have loads of insider information to share
with you!
During our research we have even
managed to obtain a copy of the Army Interview marking sheet and it's all
contained within your guide!
